One of the best reasons to love San Francisco is its appreciation of inclusivity, the driving force behind my wedding styled shoot at the historic Mark Hopkins Hotel, a luxurious venue set in the famed Nob Hill. Born and raised in this city, I looked to diversity that taught me to embrace love that can grow between all people and to appreciate the richness of different backgrounds in all talents, from the florist to the candy maker to the stationer. Whether we include a live artist, craft cocktails using hand-squeezed lemonade, or personalized cookies for place cards, we are enriched with the value brought by the gathering of creative individuals. Today – everyday – there’s so much joy to be found in life and love, and I can think of no better way of doing that than by being together, by reaching out and drawing others to celebrate with you, in the best city in the world!
